Who is God? That's a big question. God tells Moses to tell the people I AM. It's a decleration that God is the source of truth in all things. 

What do you wish for in life? Is it for amazing riches? Do you wish your enemies to be taken out? Wisdom from God is a different kind of wisdom. Solomon asked for wisdom to know right from wrong and he was rewarded beyond measure. Wisdom from Jesus looks like caring for others. Are you seeking early wisdom, or heavenly wisdom? 

We exist in a world where there is evil and fruit of the evil one mixed in with the fruit of the Kingdom of Heaven. What are we supposed to do as Christians? Should we pluck out the weeds? Do we have that authority? Jesus tells his servants to do nothing until the harvest, and then he will send his angels to do the harvesting...not us. 

What kind of soil are you preparing for the word of God? Are you open and receptive to God's love or are you holding onto worldly things that will choke out the love and freedom found in Christ?

Jesus knows your struggles and challenges because Jesus lived them. He walked this earth just like you and I. The difference is in that Jesus' perfection, he never let the lies of the world trump the lies of God. 
 

Following the way of Jesus transforms us. In the hardest situations, in the midst of power hungry people seeking to live in the ways of the world, where are the fruits of the spirit?
